Located on Oxford Street Bedford House was provided as a dining room and club for non-academic staff. It was funded by the University Appeal Fund (see Kelly p. 321) and built by John Williams (Liverpool) Ltd &sons, Structural Consultants W.S. &J.S. Watts, 1964-1966, Architect Gerald R. Beech, Liverpool, Surveyor Langdon &Every, Liverpool. The building was opened on 21 April 1967.
